When we talk about intuition, we normal talk about it’s subtleness, the still small voice within, the gentle nudges. We know that you have to pay attention, remain open, be receptive, tune in.
Well, every now and then, intuition can be down right blatant…like some one yelling….”Hey you! Yes, I’m talking to YOU!” When it shows up “In Your Face” like this, it generally pertains to something of immediate importance or something that has been sent to you many times before but you haven’t been receptive to it.
Tonight, I received such a message. One of those “in your face…if it gets any closer you will trip over it” type of messages. I had to laugh it was so obvious and yes, it pertained to a nudge I have been ignoring for quite some time.
This is the short version….last week I embarked on Andrea Hess’s new online course “Your Purposeful Money Path.”
As one of the exercises, she lead us through a visualization of our ideal day and we then were asked to write it down in detail. Well, as I was writing down what my normal morning routine would be, (which consisted of getting the kids off to school and then having some quiet time for a morning meditation and writing, even though I don’t “think” I can write), I all of a sudden got the vision of two cupped hands filled with white light, floating from out of the dark to right in front of my face, as if to give me what they were holding. Wow, not what I expected…it actually startled me at first.
The rest of exercise was relaxing and enjoyable as I visualized a life I have NO Earthly idea how I would ever be able to create….but I guess that is because some things aren’t created with “Earthly Ideas” which brings me to what happened next.
So, once I finished writing my ideal day down on paper I went to my computer to check my email as I was expecting some responses from a couple of customers of mine.
Instead, the very first email sitting there had this for a subject line:
“The Business of your Book: How to make a difference and make money as an author. Don’t miss this.”
I LOVE IT when the divine manifests clues that are so in your face you just can’t miss them! Ok, I guess I’m suppose to be moving it a “Writing” direction.
The email that had this subject line was for a teleseminar that I knew nothing about previously but is being offered for free May 3rd with Lisa Tener who is an author and writing coach. Ha, ha. Love it!
