Mamma Turkey brings messages

Mother Turkey and Babies bring messages

Part of learning to use your intuition in business and in life is being open to receive messages (intuitive hits) from anywhere and anything.

You don’t have to wait for a reading, pull a card, or find time to write. Just ask for the answer or guidance you need and then be open to it just “showing up” for you.

Often animals will bring these messages to us. We just have to be aware enough to notice them and then open enough to receive the message. This is one of my favorite ways to receive intuitive information.

For one…I LOVE critters of any kind. Second, seeing animals generally makes me STOP and take notice. Then I experience calmness and am filled with love.  (Did I mention that I LOVE critters.)

Over the summer, we were blessed to move into a rental house that is surrounded by fields and some woods. So, we have been enjoying birds, bugs, butterflies, toads, you name it…we’ve been enjoying it.  After catching and picking up a toad one evening, my teenage daughter asked…”Mom, do you HAVE to pick up everything you see?”  Ha, ha…Yes, yes I do. But that is another story.

It is the visit we had from a Mother Turkey and her babies that I wanted to share with you, along with the messages she brought with her.

Video compliments of Jeff Bowers – DigitalGaragePictures.com

As I watched her and the babies, I received several messages.

The first was abundance. Here in the states, we associate turkeys with Thanksgiving Day. It is a holiday of feasting and being grateful for the abundance we have in our lives.

But Mamma Turkey brought other messages too…..

Don’t be afraid to stick your neck out. That is how you learn what is going on around you, what things work, what things don’t, where others are hanging out.

Allow your precious gifts (her babies) to be seen.  She allowed us to catch glimpses of them, which we enjoyed immensely. What gifts do I (do you) need to bring forward and share?

Providing room too explore and grow. She brought her chicks out in the field where they could forage around but still be partially hidden and protected. She stayed near with a watchful eye but allowed them to wander about a little. We do the same with our children when they are young don’t we.  The message in this, was that we all need a safe place, a safe community, to allow our own gifts to expand and grow.

These were the messages she had for me. But, I am sure Mamma Turkey has some messages for you too. Care to share?

  1. Great post Sherry! Loved the analogy of Momma Turkey showing us to not be afraid to “stick your neck out” to get to the next destination. Kudos to your resident video production staff, Mr Jeff, too. Wild turkeys are notoriously hard to catch in a “shoot”.

  2. Love it, animals are a great way to not only receive your message, but to allow others to receive when you share it.

  3. I love this! I love animals, too, and get messages from them all the time 🙂
What Mamma Turkey brought to you is marvelous – and thank you for sharing!

  4. Loved your newsletter today, perfectly timed! I had a message sent to me today and I actually heard and felt it!
I love critters too. Currently have 3 young blue jays that someone from a wildlife refuge released next door once they were old enough to be released. They show up in the morning and evening (used to be lunch also) and lean over from the roof and say, feed me, feed me! I bring them moistened dog food and they allow me to hand feed them :). Previously it was 2 baby mockingbirds that I rescued; one that got disoriented and ended up in our garage, reunited with mom. The one before that was the baby mockingbird that Bonnie, the neighborhood cat that I feed while our snowbird neighbors are away, came around the corner with a mouthful of bird and dropped at my feet. Got Bonnie across the street and came back to realize it was still breathing, yikes! Captured it and put it in a box, had the neighbor call her daughter who works at the wildlife refuge (moistened dog food, hence how I knew what to do with the other baby birds). Took it to the wildlife refuge and it has since been released back out here. I swear once in a while I see a mockingbird and wonder if it is looking at me like it remembers. Not sure what message they were sending me, but the wildlife refuge owner agrees that I have an invisible “bird help here” sign on my house. Great article!

    1. Thanks for sharing and leaving a comment. I am sure you do have an “invisible bird help” sign. Thank is wonderful! They are much smarter and more sensitive than most people realize. I am sure they remember your kindness and tell all their friends. 🙂
